Aeron Systems
Leading developer and manufacturer of rugged tailored electric propulsion systems

Overview
Started in 2008 by two tech entrepreneurs, Aeron is a fast-growing deep-tech company developing innovative solutions and solving problems for global customers. Through its two business verticals – Navigation Systems and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, Aeron caters to aerospace, automotive, defence, environment, and renewable energy sectors.
Our team of problem-solver subject matter experts include engineers, scientists, and designers with vast domain experience in the two business verticals. Over two-thirds of our team are engineers, and at least a third of the team are women. With expertise in designing high-reliability electronics systems, sensor-fusion, sensor AI, and guidance technologies, Aeron has supplied its inertial navigation systems for the most demanding, high-dynamics fighter aircraft and trainer platforms, and its weather stations are supplied, installed, and operating in the remotest high-altitude cold deserts and hottest tropical deserts, operating 24×7 and 365 days through the year.
Innovation is at the heart of Aeron and for fifteen years Aeron has consistently invested in research, product design, and development. Over more than a decade, Aeron has fielded more than 10,000 inertial sensors and systems and over 1,500 weathers stations. In the scorching tropical heat of Saudi Arabia where temperature soars up to + 50 °C (122 °F) and cold high-altitude deserts of Mongolia where the mercury sinks to – 30 °C (-22 °F), Aeron’s Weather stations are operating continuously sending weather information to the Cloud accessible from the remote corner of the World.

Octantis 3 INS-GNSS
Rugged Dual Antenna Inertial Navigation System for Land and Airborne Applications

The Octantis 3 (OCT3-NS7700T) represents a cutting-edge, third-generation Rugged Dual Antenna GNSS-aided MEMS Inertial Navigation System. With dual antenna GNSS Compassing, it guarantees uninterrupted heading performance in static and dynamic conditions, making it the top choice for precision pointing and navigation applications.
The Octantis 3, OCT3-NS7700T, is a third generation, high-performance, Rugged Dual Antenna GNSS-aided MEMS-based Inertial Navigation Systems. The dual antenna GNSS Compassing configuration ensures uninterrupted heading performance in static and dynamic conditions. This makes OCT3-NS7700T an ideal choice for pointing and navigation applications. Engineered with Aeron’s exclusive Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), featuring 3-axis low-noise accelerometers and low-drift gyroscopes, this system sets a new standard in tactical class performance.
Our in-house characterized IMU sensing elements undergo meticulous compensation for temperature drifts, mis-alignment, non-linearity, and other errors across dynamic operating ranges. The OCT3-NS7700T integrates a proprietary parameter estimation engine leveraging a multi-modal Kalman filter, powered by a high-speed processor architecture, ensuring superior performance in demanding applications. The on-board Kalman Filter based sensor-fusion delivers low-drift position, velocity, and attitude estimations even in GNSS-denied conditions, operating at high update rates. Ruggedized to meet MIL-STD-704D, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-STD-461E/F standards, the system guarantees reliability in challenging environments. With versatile interfaces for data capture, external odometer/air data input, and integration with other GNSS systems, the OCT3-NS7700T offers flexibility. Its built-in low-noise magnetometer serves as a redundant heading source in GNSS-denied or poor visibility conditions. The model features a multi-frequency (L1/L2/L5 (IRNSS/NavIC), multi-constellation GNSS receiver with multiple channels and unparalleled signal sensitivity. Resistant to radio frequency interference, the built-in GNSS receiver safeguards against intentional jamming and spoofing.
Pollux3 Miniature Inertial Navigation Systems

Aeron’s PLX3 is a family of highly compact MEMS-based Inertial Navigation Systems. The system runs an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF), offering near-tactical performance and providing the best estimates of navigation parameters, including position, velocities, attitude, and heading. PLX3-N features tri-axial MEMS solid-state accelerometers, tri-axial gyroscopes, a tri-axial magnetometer for heading measurement, and an integrated multi-constellation GNSS. PLX3-N is a miniature INS that is low-powered and can fit in applications where size is a constraint. Due to its small size, it can be used in UAVs, UGVs, and other unmanned systems for navigation and control applications. This strap-down system is very well suited for applications requiring precise positioning and is designed to perform in highly dynamic situations. The device can control aerial and ground vehicles by using its precise attitude, heading, and position information. Aeron’s PLX3-N inertial navigation system has a navigation output data rate of 200 Hz and a raw gyro and acceleration data rate of up to 1000 Hz. It can be interfaced over serial RS232 and UART TTL ports, making data acquisition analysis easy.
